Dear Almond Families,
Tomorrow afternoon is a favorite Almond tradition: our Halloween carnival! Through the use of smoke, mirrors and cobwebs, Almond has been transformed into a spooky school! Please remember that the students are not allowed to wear their costumes during the day, but I can’t wait to see them in their creative get-ups starting at 3:30! This is not a drop-off event, so please be sure to stay with your kiddos for the afternoon.
We hope to see everyone there for this community-building event! Thank you to all of the volunteers who have made this happen for our ghosts and goblins.
Here’s to a fun, spooky time!

UPCOMING DATES
-----------
Boo! Come one, come all to the Almond PTA Halloween Carnival
We’ll have all the favorites: Games, decorations, music, food, pumpkin-carving contest and the ever-popular Cupcake Walk. The kids love it, and the proceeds benefit our school. This is not a drop-off event. The carnival is run by student and parent volunteers, so please sign up to volunteer here. Parent costumes are optional, but always add to the fun! For questions about the Halloween Carnival, please contact Anita Schulze, Halloween Carnival
We are still short on volunteers (especially serving food), please sign up for a shift or two here . All spots are now open to all parents regardless whose class your kids go to. This is a great opportunity to see all the kids and be involved with what is going on at school. Any questions? Email Mkratochwill@yahoo.com.
